Irish Weather: Ireland experiences a relatively mild climate and our weather is usually to comfort. Winter can bring cloud cover and rain with an occassional outbreak of sunny spells.  The temperature seldom falls below freezing so snow is unlikely, however during northly wind, it can get relatively cold so it’s important to remember that when packing your suitcase. The summer brings with it, many days of blue skys and sunshine although we are  prone to what we describe as a sun shower which is usually very light and short in its nature. Overall Irish weather is quite mixed with some saying we get all seasons in one day. I advise that you bring rain gear when possible as you can never be too sure.

Suitable Attire:
If you really want to experience Ireland in comfort, please bring your favourite pair of walking shoes, some light rain gear, sunglasses, a fleece, t-shirt and some easy to wear trousers. After all, you want to enjoy your journey without feeling restricted.
Don’t be disheartened though because there is always room for the glad rags ; most people get dressed up for dinner in the evening or when visiting a bar.
What you bring with you is very dependant on the time of year and if you’re travelling during the winter , it’s adviceable to bring a hat, scarf and gloves.
You can check the weather on http://www.met.ie/forecasts/ before you arrive and pack accordingly!!
